Purchasing & Try Before You Buy

How do I know which pillow(s) to select?
We recommend that you first take the sleep quiz that will recommend pillows for you based on your body type, sleep position, sleep preferences and goals.

You can also visit the product page to read additional information about each pillow, and what type of sleep seekers it is designed to help.
Finally, you can message us at help@lagoonsleep.com with additional questions or for more advice about which pillow to choose.
How many days do I have to try my pillows?
Once your order is delivered, you have 30 days for your at-home “sleep-on.” We recommend sleeping on each pillow for at least 2 or 3 nights to get a good feel for it.

By the end of your sleep-on, you must go to lagoonsleep.com/returns to notify us of which pillows you plan to keep or return.

If you plan to keep all of your pillows, no action is required. We offer a money-back guarantee, if you are not 100% satisfied with any of your pillows.

If you wish to return any of the pillows, we will then email you a prepaid return label, and you are responsible for applying the label to the outside of your sample box, and bringing it to the appropriate carrier (FedEx, UPS, or USPS).

As soon as your pillows return to our facility, we will issue back any money due to you within 1-3 business days. If your returned pillows do not arrive at our facility within 40 days after you place your order, we reserve the right to collect full payment.
Will my card be charged?

Try Before You Buy
If you select the "Try Before You Buy" option, your card will not be charged until the end of the 30 day trial period.
If we do not receive your TBYB return within 40 days, or if the pillow is noticeably worn or damaged, we reserve the right to charge your credit card for the full amount of the purchase.
Purchases
If you make a purchase, Lagoon charges your card the full amount at the point checkout, although you will still be eligible for a free return of your purchased item.
Once we receive the pillows back from you, we will refund the card for any pillow(s) that you have returned in good condition.

If your returned pillows do not arrive at our facility within 40 days after you place your order, we reserve the right to charge your card for the full amount of the pillows in the sample box.

For any purchase, we offer a money-back guarantee, if you are not 100% satisfied with any of your pillows.
How do I return my pillows?
If you wish to return any of your pillows in the allotted time, we will email you a prepaid return label, and you are responsible for applying the label to the outside of your sample box, and bringing it to the appropriate carrier (FedEx, UPS, or USPS).

If your returned pillows do not arrive at our facility within 40 days after you place your order, we reserve the right to charge your card for the full amount of the order.
What if I want to try more pillows?
We want to allow everyone the opportunity to find their perfect pillow. We recommend trying each sample pillow for at least 2-3 nights to get a good feel for it. Lagoon reserves the right to limit each customer to one sample box.

If you still haven’t found your perfect pillow after your at-home “sleep-on,” please message us at help@lagoonsleep.com with more information about what you didn’t like about your sample pillows and we will recommend another pillow.

If you purchase this pillow, you’ll have 30 days to return if you’re not satisfied with it.
What happens to the pillows that are returned?
We take incredible care in managing your returns. First we conduct a thorough inspection of all materials.

If any pillows appear to be lightly worn, we will clean and donate them to local charity. If pillows are not fit to be used again, we will discard them. We are working to recycle as many of our unusable pillows as possible!

If pillows received are like new, they will be thoroughly cleaned, and returned to inventory. We guarantee that any pillow shipped to our customer will be fresh and like new. If you are ever not satisfied with the quality of your pillow please let us know at help@lagoonsleep.com, and we will work with you to ensure you’re happy!

Care Instructions

Can I wash my Lagoon pillow?
Please check the inside label of each specific pillow as wash instructions may vary. In general, down alternative filling can be washed on cold up to once annually, and memory foam fill should only be spot cleaned. The pillowcase can be washed up to once monthly.
How else should I care for my pillow?
We recommend that you wash your Lagoon pillowcase up once monthly. You can also put your full pillow in the dryer on low tumble dry for 15 minutes once every few months if you feel like it needs to be ‘fluffed.’

What are the pillows made of?
Each of our pillows is expertly crafted to meet someone’s unique sleep needs. Fill for the pillows range from memory foam, down alternative, and natural materials. Please see each product page for more specific information. Our comfy pillow cases for each pillow are made from lush bamboo and cushy poly fiber.
Are they sustainably sourced?
We’re committed to driving positive and sustainable impact through our products and operations. We strive to implement sustainable practices and materials when possible, and help recycle used pillows when ready. We believe that we all have a role to play in addressing climate change and creating a more equitable world for all—and we’re committed to doing our part to help.

Why does my memory foam pillow have a scent?
New memory foam may have a slight scent as a result of the production process. If this is bothersome, you can easily reduce the scent by tossing the whole pillow in the dryer on low heat for an hour with a dryer sheet, or allow the pillow to air out for a day or two in direct sunlight.

Keep in mind that the new foam scent is not normal and harmful and our foam is CertiPUR-US® certified.

Shipping & Returns

How long does it take to ship?

It typically takes 1 business day to process your order and another 5-10 business days to arrive at your destination.**

Please keep in mind that we ship orders Monday through Friday (excludes weekends), and any orders placed after 1 p.m. CST will be processed the following business day.

*Free shipping excludes residents of Alaska, Hawaii, overseas military installations, Puerto Rico, and other U.S. Territories.

**Shipping timelines and cutoffs are based on shipping estimates provided by UPS, USPS, FEDEX, and any other carriers we may use. Please note that we cannot control or be liable for any delays nor guarantee any delivery dates due to circumstances beyond our control (i.e. weather-related, acts of God, natural disasters, or other Carrier related delays).
Do you ship internationally?
We currently only ship within the U.S.

What is the return policy?
In addition to the at-home ‘sleep-on,’ we have a 30-day return policy for all of our pillows.

If you are not 100% satisfied with your purchase, feel free to start your return at lagoonsleep.com/returns. We'll send you a prepaid return label for a free, easy return. Once we receive your returned item(s), we'll issue you a full refund within 1-3 business days to the form of payment you made your purchase with.

Please note: Some purchases may require that you cover the return shipping cost.
My package went missing. What should I do?
Lagoon is not responsible for lost or stolen packages if the courier has marked the package as “Delivered.” However, we'd be happy to assist you with your lost order. Please follow our steps below:

1. Please check with your household members or neighbors to see if anyone may have received the package. Often times, this is how our customers have found their lost packages. If no one has received your package, continue with the following steps.

2. You will need to open a claim with the shipping provider. Please check your tracking number to see which provider is set to deliver your package. You can do a Google search of the provider name and “claim” for instructions on how to submit a claim.

3. Contact us at help@lagoonsleep.com. Let us know that your package is missing and provide us with the following information: 1) your claim number from the shipping provider, and 2) a shipping address where an adult will be present to sign for the re-shipment.

4. We'll re-ship out your order to you.
Is there a warranty on my pillows?
Yes, we offer a one-year warranty on all of our pillows. This warranty covers any rips, tears, or abnormalities that is the fault of the manufacturer. This does not cover regular wear and tear or changes in preference of pillow. If there is an issue like this with your pillow within one year of purchase, please reach out to us at help@lagoonsleep.com with your original order number and photos of the damage. If approved, we will replace your pillow with one of equal or lesser value.
